Do you have a 32 or 64 bit operating system ?

This documentation is to help you identify whether you have a 32 or 64 bit operating system.

  • Left Click on the windows Start menu

  • Locate and Right Click on either Computer or My Computer. These can be located on the right

    hand side of the Start Menu. and then click Properties

  • Check to see the screen shows x64 or 64-Bit (as in the samples below). 

    If it does then you have an 64-Bit operating system, otherwise you have an 32-Bit operating system.
